Watchers

This is something I learned from WAYCOOLWEBDESIGN.COM.

It may seem simple and easy, but it is very useful. I'm glad they shared this on the internet.

Below is the excerpt from their website:

Wavy Line Hell

There have been only two or three occasions in my career when I've needed to create a curvy vector line for a design in Photoshop. Each time it took me much longer than I anticipated. I'm not sure why, but what seemed like obvious approaches before always turned out to simply not work as hour upon hour went by.
Vector Curvy Line Solution

I finally found a way! The best method I've found so far is to use the Line Segment Tool in Illustrator to create a straight line. Then use Filter > Distort > Zig Zag. Be sure to select "smooth" for the line. Be careful not to use the ZigZag inside of the Effects dropdown but instead confirm you are in the Filter dropdown before applying the distortion.

You should be able to copy/paste into Photoshop as a smart object now. I'm glad this has turned out to help so many other folks!

Ever since I was small, I would be drawing and coloring things that I liked. As a kid, I loved cartoons, Transformers and superheroes. I had this diary which I drew many pages of Transformers by pausing the videotape player, and by looking at the actual toy boxes at the toystore(no, we were poor, so I could only draw and not buy, but for one of my later birthdays, I did get a Jazz Autobot and Triplicon Decepticon ^^). I didn't go to art school straight away. Over the years, I went to college to first study "Business Computing". After about 2 years, I got my Advanced Diploma in I.T. from Help University College. Next, I went to study marketing and management and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University of Australia. I worked in multinational companies in the FMCG(Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry for about 6 years as a Senior Marketing Executive. My work at the office had very little to do with art. All those time, I kept practicing my illustration and painting skills, and did some freelance illustration jobs during my free time. Hey, it's my passion. It was my hobby. It's my talent, and doggonenabbit, I'm gonna make the most out of it, polish it until it shines so much it blinds my eyes! ^^

Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.
And DeviantART is the place.

If I could turn back time, I think would have studied at a design college instead. But George Elliot, the famous English novelist said :"It's never too late to become what you were meant to be."
